8-1-2: I'm always hungry

During January I tried out Whole30, and I must say at the end of it I felt fantastic. I haven't had that clear of a head, well, ever! Too bad that didn't last long. I like to eat everything that is a "NO!" on their list. Additionally, I only lost 7 lbs, and while I felt good 7 lbs after a month isn't enough to keep me on board with this "lifestyle"; whatever, it's a diet.

I probably would have lost more had I worked out, but this January was BRUTAL as far as the cold goes. Working out wasn't happening. I just wanted to eat like a rabbit and then hibernate like a bear. I think I hibernated too much. Pretty sure I've gained all 7 lbs back since Jan, so it is time to try something else. I say pretty sure because I haven't forced myself to get back on the scale again.

I've decided that I'm just not a meal planner, and shopping is just a pain in the arse for me since I drive 1 hour to and from work each day. I'm sure some of you out there can relate; in fact, if you live in Atlanta, I KNOW you can relate. That traffic is hellish.

I know I can order online and pick up at Wal-Mart, but that goes back to my whole "I suck at meal planning." The amount of food I've thrown away lately is SHAMEFUL. So, with the fact that I suck at meal planning paired with I hate to shop at the grocery store, I'm going to try some of those meal kit delivery services. Now, I know they aren't the lowest calorie options, but they are better than stopping at Whataburger and Chick-fil-A on the way home. Really, one butt cheek is about to grow a beak and the other is about to start mooing. Time to try something moooooo. See? I told you.

After a brief Facebook poll, because you know googling and reading reviews aren't good enough I need real opinions, I decided on three different meal delivery kits. The finalists are Home Chef, Marley Spoon, and Hellofresh. My first kit arrives tomorrow from Hello Fresh, and I hope it is worth it. I will write about my first experience with it when I get it!

Now, I need to get back to daydreaming about eating at Bacchanalia, French Laundry, Per Se, and Kinship. Lord, I have expensive taste. Are there any wealthy old folks out there want to adopt an adult child? I'll take care of you! Promise!
