Well, that was interesting . . .

Not living in Hale anymore. I'd like to thank my ex for leaving me at the Birmingham Zoo by myself to go watch the sea lions as my birthday present alone. He was too drunk to get out of bed that day, and that is the day I realized I had to get out. I clearly was not meant for that place. Most people looked at me like I had three heads because I spoke my mind and had an education. Oh, and I cuss. Clutch your pearls, Hale. Hale, for that matter the entire South can go ahead and clutch their pearls.
Now, there are some great people who live in Hale, and then there are some backwoods rednecks who have zero problems saying the N-word. Anyone who watched the last four years of the White House knew that half the country was a bunch of racists, but I won't go off on a tangent. Long story short, I'm in Pennsylvania now, and never been happier. So now you'll be getting stories of a Southern chick in a Northern state. Thanks to the Pandemic, however, my Southern versus Northern content is limited. We've been getting a ton of snow, which is a rare occurrence in the South. However, the South is getting pounded by ice and snow this week, and we are too. Don't let these Northerners fool you, they have snow days too. Their snow days are for BIG snowstorms rather than 2" of snow, and we've been getting large snowstorms getting lately. It has been very beautiful, and our lake is frozen. Again, I have limited content right now. I'd love to get out and explore the city more, but with COVID it just isn't worth it.

So what else has been going on since the last time I wrote? Well, I taught English to kids in China with VIPKID, and then started working in insurance. I'm SUPER lucky that my boss lets me work remotely. Married a guy I met in the hallway in 10th grade who has had a crush on me since then. Now, if you know me, you know I have ZERO filters, and most men don't like this about me. He loves it. He laughs at things I say that aren't meant to be funny, and sometimes are meant to be snarky. That's never happened. I don't get told to "stop cussing." I love his mother, she is boisterous and also has zero filters. His three kids are great; although, I don't know the youngest well because of the Baby Momma Drama that is thrown at us. That's an entire blog post by itself though because I could go off on how you shouldn't use your child as a pawn.
Moving on, I'm back on WW because, well, the pandemic 20 is real. We've put up weight loss posters for all of us because we're all overweight. I've lost three pounds, and the hubs has lost ten. Being cooped up all the time, binge-watching Netflix and Amazon Prime, and stuffing my face with all the food has been a norm for too long. Time to make changes.

That is really all that has been going on. I'm going to make writing a new habit before I hop online to work. It is cathartic. What have y'all been doing during the pandemic? I'm open to suggestions on things to do besides binge-watch TV or contemplating starting an OnlyFans page. Someone stop me from making an OnlyFans page already. Haha!
